My calm, positive, and gentle presence helps even the shy, energetic, stubborn, or easily distracted subjects relax and simply be themselves. I patiently create a comfortable environment, offering clear direction when needed while allowing each personality to unfold naturally. By taking the time to connect, observe, and wait for those genuine moments, I capture images that reveal not just how someone looks, but who they are.

Born and raised in The Netherlands. I now live near Portland, Oregon and my work continue to be shaped by my Dutch roots. My work is driven by simplicity and minimalism, resulting in timeless photographic artwork designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
