Hello and Welcome!
I'm a portrait photographer based near Portland, Oregon, and for fifteen years I've focused on the subjects most photographers shy away from: children, dogs, and horses. If you've ever sat through a session with a squirmy toddler or a dog who won't hold still, you know how that usually goes. I take a different approach — patient, unhurried, a little quiet — and give each subject time to settle in before I raise the camera. What we end up with is who they actually are, not a held pose.
I grew up in the Netherlands, and that shows up in my work: simple, uncluttered images without a lot of noise around them — the kind you'll still want on your wall in twenty years.

About Pauline
I've been a portrait photographer for fifteen years, working mostly with children, dogs, and horses — subjects that don't perform on cue. I build extra time into every session so nobody has to rush: not you, not them. If your toddler won't sit still or your dog is having a nervous day, that's exactly what I'm there for. You don't have to manage it — I do.
I was born and raised in the Netherlands, and that shows up in my work — simplicity, clean lines, photographs that don't need much explaining. These are portraits made to live on your wall, not lose themselves on your phone — modern images designed for your home, and for your legacy.
Services + Pricing
All sessions include time to help the star to settle in, the shoot itself, and a private gallery reveal about three weeks later — in person or over Zoom, which ever works best for you. Before we book, I like to hear what you're picturing as the end result. That way I can plan the session around what matters to you.
Children
Pricing covers up to two children; additional children are an extra fee.
Starting at $950 in-studio / $1150 on location — includes your session + and a $750 credit toward any of our products. Anything beyond your credit can be added after your review.
Dogs
Studio sessions can include one or two dogs from the same household; multi-dog sessions run up to 90 minutes with two handlers present.
