Maggie’s story
Maggie, our sweet golden doodle faced cancer not once, but twice. Diagnosed first at six and again at twelve, she went through a lot but her enthusiasm for people and the game of fetch never faded. For us and probably you too, the phrase “my dog comes first” isn’t just a statement - it’s a way of life. In anything we did, we prioritized her because she gave us so much. Her happiness and comfort became our own. In her we saw the truest reflection of love and in our hearts the reason to do everything to keep her safe and content. Yet, it wasn’t enough to prevent cancer.
No-one knows what caused Maggie to experience cancer twice. There’s so much to learn and we need to help the researchers find the answer to why so many dogs are suffering.

This fundraiser supports K9 Cancer Research and honors Maggie’s memory as well as all the other dogs that have been effected by cancer.
